That came through a rather frosty moment with a feather-light realisation: "During a walk with my husband, my bottom froze. I already knew about several different types of overwear, but I didn't like them, so I got the idea of attacking this problem myself." An idea manifested itself and with it she immediately picked up her chronically shivering friend Petra. "Tine said, let's do it now! I thought that was great. And as a trained dressmaker, I was the perfect match." So it was off to the warm bottom with the help of boiled merino wool fabrics from the best Italian or German production, mainly organically certified. "They have a high-grade, long-lasting quality and a particularly soft and supple feel. If we are doing it, then properly, we thought." According to this motto, her cosy, warm product range has been evolving using her own cutting templates. First and foremost the 'Popowärmer', a simple beautiful skirt for all occasions: "You can wear it for hiking in the mountains as well as for a stroll through town or a visit to the theatre." It also travelled with Tine on holiday in Brittany and replaced the blanket hump in the camping chair, whilst Petra has many friends who like to wear it in grey or green as part of their traditional costume. In the meantime, even more parts of the body can enjoy it. The rheumatism-plagued hands of Tine's work colleague inspired the first 'Bratznwärmer' - another case of "acute need meets flattering solution". Now the extended wrist warmers not only make musicians standing outdoors happy, but also utilise the fabric offcuts from the skirts. Just like the 'Ohrwaschlwärmer' which soon followed to provide for warm ears. And while the creative duo reflects on a revolutionary pair of men's trousers, female customers can already start deciding between seasonal curry yellow and enduring stone grey... Rock!
